What is Tusi (Pink Cocaine)?

Tusi, also called "pink cocaine" or "2C-B," is a dangerous drug mixture often marketed as a psychedelic. Despite the name, it rarely contains actual cocaine. Instead, it typically contains ketamine, MDMA, caffeine, opioids, or other substances, dyed pink. True 2C-B is a synthetic psychedelic, but street "tusi" is unpredictable and dangerous because users never know what they are actually taking. The term originated from the phonetic pronunciation of "2C-B" in Spanish.

Effects

Highly unpredictable effects depending on actual contents. May include: euphoria, visual hallucinations, altered perception, increased energy, empathy, dissociation, nausea, increased heart rate, anxiety, confusion, sensory distortions

Risks & Dangers

Extremely dangerous due to unknown contents. Overdose risk from fentanyl contamination, adverse reactions to drug combinations, serotonin syndrome, respiratory depression, heart problems, seizures, psychosis, severe anxiety/panic, death from combined drug effects. Each batch is different making dosing impossible.

Withdrawal Symptoms

Varies depending on actual drug contents. May include depression, anxiety, fatigue, cravings, physical withdrawal from opioids if present.

Addiction Potential

High - Both psychological dependence on the drug effects and potential physical dependence on unknown adulterants.

Duration

Varies based on contents, typically 4-8 hours but unpredictable

Legal Status

Schedule I controlled substance in the US (2C-B). Street "tusi" mixtures are illegal. Contents vary and may include multiple controlled substances.

Alcohol Interaction Warning

Mixing Tusi (Pink Cocaine) with alcohol can be extremely dangerous and potentially life-threatening. Combining substances increases the risk of:

  • • Respiratory depression and overdose
  • • Unpredictable effects and loss of consciousness
  • • Increased toxicity to liver and other organs
  • • Impaired judgment leading to risky behaviors
